Tarrus Riley ashames Ugandan event managers

Published

Ugandans like Nigerian hits because they make their hearts go po mpo in night clubs but the love they have for Jamaican reggae songs is unfathomable. After saving enough for Tarrus Riley’s Live in Kampala concert on 1st December where Maddox Ssematimba was to feature along, our very own event promoters and managers spearheaded by RedFog have stabbed us in the front.

Sugarcoated News has been spreading around that the concert was cancelled because Tarrus had to perform at a big festival in Jamaica but as POTUS says, that’s fake news. Tarrus Riley scrapped off this veil in a Facebook post and revealed the truth behind the cancellation. In his post, he expresses total disappointment and that from his team that has been rehearsing for 3 months in preparation for 1st December.

Thus read the full post;

It is amazing how quickly we as black brothers and sisters tend to speak badly of each other without getting all the facts, I have waited my entire career and it was like a dream come true to play in Kampala, Uganda. My team has held this date for over three months only to receive an email from the promoters of the event two days ago which stated “Unfortunately, due to events beyond my control, our exclusive sponsor for the event, notified me only last week that they would not be fulfilling their contractual obligations…Due to this situation I am asking that we reschedule for a time when I am able to generate capital and secure a diversified sponsor base to make the concert happen.”
My team and I are VERY disappointed but this is no fault of mine. #getthefacts #Uganda #TarrusRiley #BSMG #Cannon #JukeBoxx

The song is titled NFAMU and stings bandminds.He says everytime haters come close he falls down.

BigEye has struggled musically this year and had to cancel his concert earlier scheduled for 7th December at Wankulukuku stadium.We hope this jam will salvage this year for him.
