Published

on

The Late Bobi Wine Driver Yasin Kawuma’s family yesterday shockingly rejected over 20 million Uganda Shillings that had been sent to them as condolences by the President of Uganda.

While appearing before cameras, some of the family members had been assembled by Singer Catherine Kusasira who had met the president together with Bebe Cool the day before from where she addressed the issue of the Late’s family seeking for help from the Government of Uganda. The late Kawuma’s family resides ion Lusanja, Wakiso and he left a total of 3 widows and 11 children that are in dire need of help in terms of school fees, utilities, health care and other family necessities.

The money in rejection had been solicited by Kusasira from the president.

The family however honestly rejected it saying they preferred Justice for the late instead of hard cash as condolences.

Through her Facebook page, Catherine Kusasira revealed how she intends to take some more money to the Father of the Slain Police officer Mohammed Kirumira who was shot a few weeks back while driving back to his home. This will also be a part of the money she solicited from the president to help the families of these two people that were mysteriously shot yet they were the sole bread winners of these families.
